Lo Squalo Beach is one of the small coves of Lido di Pittulongu (Olbia): an arc of ultra-fine, light-gray sand with green-blue water and shallow, sandy bottoms—ideal for families and for anyone who likes to wade into the sea in complete peace. It is separated from the larger “La Playa” by a short rocky spit that’s easy to cross on foot, and it faces straight toward Tavolara, offering an iconic view of the Gulf of Olbia. On the beach you’ll find beach clubs renting sunbeds and umbrellas, seafront bars/restaurants (including the long-standing “Lo Squalo”), a lifeguard in season, various activities such as SUP, canoes and small boats, and accessible entry points; the beach is also designated “smoke-free.”
